Abstract
.
The research is done and partly related to the art of "drawing" cannot be searched as clearly and abundantly as "Persian painting". The reason for this is the remarkable realization of studies that have been done on Persian painting and, with its continuation, added to the frequency of this research. The review of completed research more clearly identifies the existing research capacities in this field. Although these studies are few, reflecting on them not only enables the understanding of research approaches in drawing art but also reveals unsearched topics in this field. Therefore, this article, while identifying research studies on the art of design aiming to understand research approaches to the aforementioned topic, raises the question of what approaches can explain the research encounter with the Iranian art of design.
And these approaches necessitate the importance of studying what topics? The research study has benefited from a multi-case method, utilizing library resources and online articles for information collection. An essential point in this process is to pay attention to the fact that primary sources and references will be given priority. Therefore, although it is possible to consider the number of more study samples, according to the limitations of the article, it was only 24. Research is being identified. Their review of the part to the whole is as follows: initially, the term drawing is carefully defined. Then, the art of drawing is studied in connection with Persian art. Then, the existing research in this field, the understanding of the research approaches, and the inference of the research encounters of their researchers are studied.
In conclusion, the research gaps and specialized needs of this field, which are the result of the studies of the previous stage, will be expressed. The results of the investigations state that the researchers' research encounter with the art of drawing can be divided into two groups: partial and general approaches. Following this issue, the discussion of how the art of drawing is objectified in the opinion of Iranian and Western researchers was also recognized in four groups: a partial and general approach, a partial and painter-oriented approach, a general approach to the schools of Qazvin and Isfahan, and general studies of Persian art. Therefore, the necessity of distinct and specific research in drawing art becomes certain. This feature allows us to carry out other studies about drawing art. The results of this research have led to the decentralization of research in the field of painting and the centralization of the field of drawing art.
